About Extra Steps

Recipe Codes designed the brand identity for Extra Steps, a brand in the sports, gym and fitness machine category. The project includes the primary logo, an Arabic-language brand guideline document, logo usage rules, an icon set and a range of brand applications, from stationery and ID badges to wristbands, key chains, outdoor billboards and a wall-mounted sign. Product visuals were produced with 3ds Max and V-Ray.

The logo combines an English wordmark, an Arabic wordmark and an icon. The icon turns the letter E into three slanted bars that read as steps, shown in the guidelines as a progression from E to stairs to the final mark. The palette pairs a strong yellow-orange with black and white. Typography specimens list Nevolasty Light, Omar Bold and Cairo Light, and a misuse page shows six incorrect logo treatments.
