This policy explains what personal data Recipe Codes collects through recipe.codes, why we collect it, how we protect it and the rights you have. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU ePrivacy rules on cookies and Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
1. Who we are
Recipe Codes for Software and Information Technology (“Recipe Codes”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect
We only collect the data you choose to send us through the forms on this website:
- Free consultation and contact forms: your name or company name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in or the subject of your message, and your message.
- Development and design request forms: the same contact details plus your project name and the project details and options you select.
- Technical information: the page you submitted the form from, so we know which service you were viewing. We do not store your IP address with form submissions.
Please do not send sensitive information (such as health data, national ID numbers or payment card details) through our forms.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To answer your request and prepare a quote: based on the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and on your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on each form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To protect the website against spam and abuse: based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not send you marketing messages unless you separately ask us to.
4. Who receives your data
- Our team: form submissions are delivered by email to our team so we can reply to you.
- Hosting and email: the website and its database are hosted by our hosting provider, and form notifications are sent through our email server.
- Cloudflare: we use Cloudflare to deliver the website securely and Cloudflare Turnstile to check that form submissions come from a person and not a bot. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address for these security purposes.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country. Where data is transferred outside the EU or Egypt, we rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your request only for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage our business relationship with you, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
6. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
- Security cookies set by Cloudflare (for example
__cf_bmandcf_clearance): used to protect the website and our forms against bots and attacks. They are strictly necessary and are deleted automatically after a short time. - WordPress login cookies: used only when our own team logs in to manage the website. Visitors do not receive them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking security cookies may stop the contact forms from working.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to or restrict our use of your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority, such as a supervisory authority in the EU or the Personal Data Protection Center in Egypt.
8. How we protect your data
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), spam and bot protection, a web application firewall and restricted access to our systems to protect your data.
